Naples, Florida is known for it’s lavish beaches that seem to take you to another country. It’s amazing to think how you don’t have to book a flight to another country where it’s warm and tropical when warm and tropical is right here in the US. Known today as the Paradise Coast, it is a winter retreat for many people ever since it’s founding years. We mentioned the founding years because the pioneers of the region saw the potential of the place to become a summer destination for everyone and built it’s first ever hotel here –  the Naples Beach Hotel.

This place has a long history, as was mentioned. It was built in the 1880’s and has seen several renovations over the course of the 20th century. Simply called The Naples Hotel back then, it was a couple of blocks away from the fishing pier and 1 ½ miles away from it’s location today. In 1929, the owners of that time built an 18-hole golf course and also obtained a beachfront property which became it’s beach club. But before the gold course was made, golfers had to play on a 9-hole fairway in the 3rd Street and 5th Ave. which also was used as an airport that time. In 1949, a retired toy manufacturer bought the entire property and rebuilt both the beach resort and the golf course and these have been an integral part of the property since.

After it went through several renovations and a few changes in ownership, (the hotel barely survived hurricane Donna of the 60’s but managed to recover) this once humble place where weary vacationers of the 1800’s rest for the night is now called The Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club. This amazing hotel sits currently at 851 Gulf Shore Boulevard North, Naples, FL 34102, United States and is one of the prime choices of vacationers from all over the country when booking for a hotel for a brief stay in Naples, Florida. It’s a convenient choice not only because of it’s amenities and great service but also because of it’s location. It’s a 5-minute drive from the Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens and 6 miles from the wildlife preserve at Clam Pass Park. Needless to say, the hotel is close to everything in Naples, Florida.

In The Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club you will get excellent room service, wifi-access, laundry service, which not a lot of hotels have; a free parking space in a city where parking is such a hassle, and the best part is, it’s child-friendly, so you can bring your kids in here and they will be taken cared of as well. There’s also a fitness center, a bar and grill and a restaurant with a romantic seaside view.
