This means that spending your weekends with the family is always a great idea when you do it here in Naples. So we thought of giving you some ideas on how to spend your R&R while in the area.

Shelling in Beaches

The beaches around Naples are beautiful beyond compare, we know this much. But did you know you can take a piece of these wonders with you and put them in your pockets? What are we talking about? We’re talking about them shells, buddy. Yes, in Naples city’s beaches, you can take some shells and bring them with you as a reminder of the wonderfully pleasant time you had in the gorgeous city of Naples.

Trail of Treasures

Hidden behind Tamiami Trail and within walking distance of the luxurious Fifth Avenue South, shops are scattered along 10th Street North between Fifth Avenue North and Second Avenue South in a district that is known as along the Trail of Treasures. You’ll find everything from custom jewelry to fine art. All stores numbering about 20 along a cobblestone pavement.  A mix of nonprofit thrift shops, resale stores and antique shops are found all over this quaint district, making for a fun day of treasure hunting and it’s just within reach of the top designers stores in the downtown area.

Boat Tours

The boat guide can take you around Keewaydin Island where you and your loved ones can admire the sheer beauty of the place. You can take pictures; look for birds while your native guide can educate you more about the place.  And you know you’re getting great first hand information because you’re getting it from somebody who actually spent their childhood in the place. You can then roast your catch from the boat earlier and have literally a meal fresh from the sea. Then, you can spend the rest of the late afternoon walking along the beach and wait for perhaps the best sunset you will ever see in your life.

Biking

Naples, Florida, has miles of eye-popping shorelines brimming with exotic birds, dolphins and turtles. And the most ideal approach to see them is by taking a nice trip in Naples via a bicycle. While on a bike, you may also marvel at the lavishly designed houses along the Gulf of Mexico and afterwards stop at beach fronts and get to entrances without agonizing over finding a parking space or placing quarters into meters. Some of those entrance points don’t have spaces for four-wheeled vehicles, so people on bicycles are the main ones who are there.

These are just some of the things you can do for an awesome weekend in Naples, Florida.
